Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations_ THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7tu. For Wellington, Nelson, Westport, and Australian Colonies, per Tararua, at 150 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 n.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER Bth. For Wanganui, per St. Kilda, at 11.30 a.m.; late letters, 11.50 a.m.; guard’s van, railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. , For the United Kingdom, America, and the Continent of Europe, Sydney, Brisbane, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., at 2.45 p.m.; late letters, 3,30 p.m.; guard’s van, railway station, 4 p.m train. , . „ „ Registered letters and money orders, until 3 p.m. Newspapers and hooks, until 2 p.m. This mail is due at London on December 24th.
