Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations MONDAY, NOVEMBEE 4. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box. guard’s van, musfnot be used for this mail. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui, at 3.15 p.m.; late letters, 3.35 p.m.; railway station, 4 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian colonies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.: late letters, 2.10 p.m".; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. The next English mail via San Francisco will close at Christchurch on Friday, November Bth. This mail is due at Loudon on December 24th. This mail is due at London on Decomber 24th. SZDNEIf J.
