NEW ZEA.LA.ND TELEGRAMS. [PBB PBESB AGENCY. J Transfer of Police. Wellington, October 31. The Government have commenced to act upou the recommendations in the report of the committee which inquired into the charges made against the Wellington police, and which recommended the periodical removal of police inspectors from one city to another. Inspector Acheson has in consequence been notified that he is to bo sent to Nelson. His successor is not yet known.
