Mails olose at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : THUKSDAY, OCTOBER 31. For Northern ports, per Taiaroa, at 3.15 p.m; late letters. 335 p.m.; railway station, 4 pm, train. For Wellington, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; flate letters, 2.10 pm. ; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otag\ per Easby, at 1.50 p.m; lute letters, 2.10p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train.
