POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations ; - ONDAY( OCTOBER 28, For Otago and Australian Colonies per Emgarooma, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m,; railway station, 2,40 p.m. train, , „ For Northern Ports, per Taranaki, at 3.15 p.m.: late letters, 3.35 p.m,; railway station, 4 p.m Wellington and Kaikonra, per Tui, at 3.15 p.m.; late letters, 3.35 p.m.; railway station, 4 p.m. train. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will close at Christchurch on the Bth November. This mail is due at London on December 24th. SYDNEY J. DICK, • Chief Postmaster.
