Tni, from Foxton, Wellington, and Kaikoura, arrived at 9 p.m. yesterday. She sails on her return trip to-day. The s.s. Tenders are invited for the repairs to the barque Ceylon, the tenders to bo sent in not later thau 4 p.m. to-day. It is also intimated this vessel is open lor freight or charter. The schooner Eeward, Captain Westlake, left Picton on September 7th, at 6 a.m., and had light airs and calms for twelve hours, when a light northerly wind sprang up, accompanied with heavy rain. Cleared the sound at 6 a.m. on Bth, and at noon passed Cape Campbell, and same eveuing Bpoko brig Emperor and barque Victoria, several other vessels being in sight. At 7 p.m. the wind came light from the S.W., and by 10 p.m. had increased to a heavy gale. On the 9th, at 7 a.m., finding the gale still continue, he boro up for Capo Campbell, anchoring at 11 a.m. A heavy S.S.E. gale blew for several days, but on the_ 12th, at 6 a.m., again got under weigh, the wind beingN.N.E., light, and continuing to blow from that quarter till the vessel arrived in harbor at 3 a.m. on Saturday. Arrived—Taranaki, from Lyttelton; Swallow, and Frederick Bassell. from Newcastle. Sailed—Hawea, for Lyttelton. Wellington, September 16. Arrived—Ship Orari, from London, 109 days from Gravesend, after a line weather passage with light ■winds. She brings equal to thirty-throe statute adults, and a full cargo, consigned to the New Zealand Shipping Company. Patea, September 16. The ketch Huon Belle is being temporarily repaired. She then goes to Lyttelton.
