Edwards, Bennett and Co., agents. Columbia, schooner, 46 tons, Conway, for Napier. Master, agent. Sailed—September 10. Jannett, ketch, 11 tons, Green, for Amuri. Master, agent. Sailed—September 11. Soxikar, ship, 1304 tons, Benaut, for London. J. Inglis, agent. Courier, ketch, 41 tons, Sinclair, for Pigeon Bay. Master, agent. The Merope cleared for Melbourne this morning in ballast. The Hawea was not signalled up to the time of onr express leaving Port to-day. The s.s. Albion, commanded by Captain Tozer, discharged 10 tons and loaded a quantity of cargo at the Steamers' Wharf, and sailed for Melbourne, via South, at 1 p.m. yesterday.| The barque Ceylon was berthed at the No. 3 Wharf yesterday to discharge. Mr D. Grubb, the travelling mail agent between Christchnrch and St. Andrews, reports seeing a full-rigged ship oil St. Andrews bound North. THE SAILING OP THE SOUKAR. This fine ship was towed outside the Heads by the p.s. Titan this morning, and started on her homeward passage with a fresh N.E. wind. ARRIVAL OP THE BRIGANTINE ACKBAR, PROM CALCUTTA. This smart looking vessel arrival in harbor from Calcutta this morning, after a quick passage of 87 days, having sailed the route through the Straits of Malacca. She is owned and commanded by Captain Watt, and brings 150 tons of cornsacks, gunny bags, &c, for this port. The other portion of the cargo is for Port Chalmers. Edwards, Bennett and Co. are her agents. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, September 11. The s.s. Tararua left Melbourne on the Ith at 11 a.m , and arrived at Hobart Town at 8 30 a.m. on the sth. Left at 7 p.m., and had fine weather until the 9th, then strong head winds and heavy sea until passing the Solanders at 5 p m. on the 10th, when she steamed slow until arrival at the Bluff at 6 this morning. She sails at 3 p.m. for Dtmedin. Passengers— Saloon : For Lyttelton—Messrs Malcolm, Hogg, Turner; and four in the steerage.
