As regards the Public Reserves, I have always maintained that Christchurch needed an addition to them, and therefore it may reasonably be assumed that I should on no account advocate the curtailment of the public privileges in the Domain ; but as this is not a city property the chances of so absurd a violation of public right being committed are of course materially diminished.
