Sailed—August 29. Eashy, s.s., 969 tons, Anderson, for Dunedin. Eoyse,‘Stead, and Co., agents. The s.s. Eashy, Captain Anderson, arrived in harbor from Sydney, via Wellington, od Wednesday, at 7pm. She spoke the barques Mary Ami Aimson and Southern Cross off Blind Bay (Cook’s Straits), on the 26th instant. The Eashy sailed for Dunedin this afternoon. . , . , , The s.s. Tui, Captain Wills, arrived in harbor from Kaikoura and Wellington at 9,30 p.m. yesterday. She sails for the same ports and Foxton at sp.m.to-day. . . . The s.s. Eingarooma, Captain Clark, arrived in harbor from Melbourne and Hobart Town, via Sonth, at 10.30 a.m. to-day. She sailed for Wellington and Nelson at 3 p.m. The barque Pet, from Hobart Town, the schooner Jane Hannah, from Gatlin’s Elver, and the schooner Linda Weber, from Auckland, arrived In harbor this morning. SHIPPING TELEGEAMS. Port Chalmers, August 29, Arrived—The barque Inglewood, from London, 89 days out. She brings 16 passengers and 1900 tons of cargo, 5 tons powder, I Clydesdale entire. A valuable Clydesdale mare died 15 days after she left London. She experienced moderate weather till August 18th, in lat. 46 S.j long. 130 E., when a fearful W.S.W. gale was encountered. A heavy sea hoarded her, and smashed the wheel, the binnacle, the taffrail, skylights and companions. The ship hove to for 28 hoars. A temporary wheel was rigged, and the ship made snug. Great credit is dne to Captain Buckletark for his exertions. She spoke the ship Helen Denny, from London, for Hawkes Bay, 50 days out on July Bth, in lat, 20 S.; long. 32 W.
