Malls close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations s TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Akaroa and Otago, per Taranaki, at 11 a.m.; late letters. 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. rl Eor Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, guard’s van, must not be used for this mail. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tni, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, guard’s van, must not be used for Tui’s mail.
