MAGISTRATES' COURTS.

OHRISTCHURCH. Satrday, August 17. [Before G L. Mellish, Esq., R.M.] Laboknt.—Arthur Edward Manning, who had been remanded from Auckland, was charged with stealing £IOO, the property of the Bank of New Zealand. Inspector Hickson informed the Bench that he had not been made acquainted with the facts of the caae. He fhad sent to tho bank a messenger, who had not returned. As there was no other oase on the list, the Court was adjourned for a few minutes. On resuming, Inspector Hickson obtained a remand till Tuesday next.
