The Customs duties collected here on Friday, August 9th, amounted to £9Bllßs Bd. The items were .—Wines, £Bl 5s 6d; spirits, £223 10s sd| bottled beer, £2l; tobacco, £«0 7s (id ; tea, £lB 4s; cocoa, £ti 6s; sugar, £24 3s 8d; goods by weight, £3B 7s 3d; ad valorem, £342 16s Id; other duties, £13219s 3d. LAND SALE. Messrs H. Matson snd Co., on Saturday, sold a quarter-acre section, situated in Armagh street, together with the family residence erected thereon, the property of Dr Guthrie, to Mr Conyer*, for £BSO. They sold, also, two acres in the township of Eolleston for £32 10s. A number of other properties which had been advertised for sale on Saturday were withdrawn.
