'The Customs duties collected here on Saturday, July 27th, amounted to £276 12s lOd. The items were:—Wines, £lO 11s 3d; spirits, £64 12s lOd ; tea, 8s; sugar. £45 16s 9d; ad valorem, £l9 16s; other duties, £135 Bs. Messrs Clifford and Co. report on their usual weekly sale, as follows—Fowls, 3s to 4s 9d per pair ; turkeys, 7s to 12s per pair, geese, 7s to 10s 6d per pair ; ducks, 6s to 7s per pair. Pigs—Porkers, 8s to 14s each; fat sows, 56s each; dead pigs, 50 to 90 lbs., 3Jd U 4s per lb. Cattle—Springers and cows in profit, £l2. Forest and Fruit Trees—A large assortment came to hand, which realised full market value. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Auckland, July 29. Mr A. Saunders reports on the share market: — Buyers—Bank of New Zealand, £23 15s; Colonial, 555: National, 78-i; Sontu British. 695; New Zealand Insurance, 89s ; National, 26s 6d ; New Zealand Shipping, 88s; Loan and Mercantile, new issue, 67s 6d; Auckland Gas, £lO 2s 6d; Corby, 265; Moanatairi, 57s 6d; Thames, 30s.
