Horses from Wanganui.— By the s.s. kSt Hilda, which arrived yesterday, MrW. Holley brought from Wanganui thirty-five heavy draught horses. Thirty-three of these are mares and geldings, but the other two are entires, intended to stand hero during the coming season. One is a bay horse named Surprise, by Marquis out of Duchess, and is full brother to the well-known draught sire Lord Glasgow, but much larger. The other is a promising three-year-old colt, bred irom imported stock.
