CAB L/NE W S. [eetttee’s telegrams to the peess AGENCY.] London, July 26. Parliament will be prorogued to August 20th. Rome, July 25. The political agitation amongst the Italian democrats is now subsiding. It is contemplated sending a Pontifical intoruncio to England. INTERPROVINOIAL [pee peess agency.] Westport, July 27. At 2.30 this morning the Wharf Hotel, Palmerston street, was discovered to bo on fire, and despite the efforts of the fire brigade in less than an hour was totally destroyed with the stock and nearly all the furniture, Mr Brinkley, landlord, with his wife and family, escaped. The fire originated at the rear of the premises. The origin of the fire is unknown. The insurance on the building is £250, and on the stock and furniture £SO, in the South British Company.
