Office salaries (including Inspector) ... .£2500 Teachers’ salaries 30,000 Payment to committees 3000 Scholars ... ... 700 Training Institutions (including Girls’ Training and High Schools) 3500 School Libraries 500 Expenditure on new school ... ... 4000 On other expenses (including printing and advertising, &c.) 1500 45,700' Public Libraries 1200 _ .£46,900 The Secretary stated that the estimate for school buildings would probably amount to £40,000, and liabilities upon the school buildings are set down at £11,538, less £6570, leaving a sum of £4968 to be provided.
