The Customs duties collected here on Friday, July sth, amounted to £875 12s 9d. The items were:—Spirits, £516 4s 3d; tea, £23 8s; sugar, £BS 18s lid; ale, iu bottle, £24; goods by weight, £lB 7s 7d; ad-valorem, £lsl 18s; other duties, £25 16a. LAND SALE. At Messrs Matsou's land sale on Saturday last, the following business was done: - Lot 1, 591 acres of bush laud situated at Little Kiver, not realising reserve price, were passed in at £4 per acre. Lot 2, 49 building allotments, uf wnieh 4 wore sold, realising as follows, per section—£32o, £lls, £IOO, £IOO. The balance wus passed iu at £SOO per acre. No. 3, i-acre sectiou with ti-roouied house at Addington, not realising the reserve price, was withdrawn. Lot 4,10 ft. frontage on Lincoln road, was also withdrawn. Lot 5, ireeho.d property, 100 links frontage with a depth of 348 links, not realising owner's reserve, was withdrawn. Lot 6, 140-acre farm situated on the Riceartou road, was passed in at £33 10s per acre. Lot 7, 40 acres of land at Buruham subdivided into |-acre sections, realised the following prices per section— X'M, £7, £9, £B, £llss,£lhss,£4los,|£llos,£llos,£llos,£l 15s, £3, £2 10s, £5, and 7at £2. Ihe remainder were Withdrawn, i ifty-seven sections in the township of Burnham, subdivided iu 7 £-acre sections, realised £SO, and a number of sections, owing to the lateness of the hour, were withdrawn, and will be sudmitted at the next sale.
