4> CHRTSTCHUROH Friday, July 4. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq , R.M., and F. 0. Tabart, Esq., J.P.] Drunk and Disordkrly.—Wm. Galvin, churned with this offence, was fined 40s ; W. Griffiths 20s,and George Craw forfeited his bail. Emily Watson similarly charged was fined 20s. LYTTELTON. Friday, July 5. [Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M.] Drunkenness.—Joseph Davis, arrested by Constable Butler on the above charge, was fined ss. Transfer of License. —An application for the temporary transfer of the license of the British Hotel from Joseph Baldwin to Joseph Charles Farquharson was adjourned to Tuesnext. A temporary transfer of the license of the. Mitre Hotel from J. S. Cameron to H. W. Brien was granted.
