CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, Junk 29. [Before his Worship the Mayor.J Drunkknness.—Two first offenders were fined 5s each. Thomas Mallinson and Eliza Elliott were fined 10s. Vagrancy.—lsabella Leckie, Ellen Thomson, and Ellen Talbot, were charged with having no lawful visible means of support. Constable Stephenson, Detective Benjamin, and Sergeant Hughes proved the offence. Long lists of previous convictions were handed to the Bench by Inspector Hickson. They were each sent to gaol for three months, with hard labor.
