ANGORA GOATS.

"Sir,—l h?g to acknowledge receipt of your favour of 25t)i ultimo—thank you for the kind interest you have taken in the matter of the ' Angora Goats.' 1 find now that there

will be no difficulty whatever in transhipping from Melbourne to New Zealand, and further that if a small Hook, say 80 to 100 goats, v r ero ordered, they could bo delivered at a considerable reduction in the price previously quoted. The animals would be of the very finest and purest breed, and could bedelivered in New. Zealand at £lO per pair, guaranteed to be in perfect health and condition. I should send them hence to Egypt or MMta, thence by the Peninsular and Oriental steamers. The short sea voyage to ihese places would ensure the animals being quite sound prior to shipment, and the joim.ey would be then only about thirty-five days by sea. There would be much greater risk in sending the goals to England unless in the summer, and very few steamers from this make the passage in less than twenty days.— I remain, &c,
