Arrived —City of Sydney. The non-arival of the Cuzco at Adelaide is causing uneasiness.
INTEEPROYINCIAL. [per press agency.] Wellington, June 13. Mr P. A. Krull, German Consul here, on behalf of the German residents of Wellington, has sent a telegram’ to the Emperor of Germany expressing their sympathy. The offences return for Wellington provincial district for 1876-77 shows that the total number of offences for 1877 amount to 1543, in 1876 to 1600. The persons apprehended in 1876 were 1527, in 1877 1476. Mr Travers is taking proceedings against Mr T. Kennedy Macdonald, a well-known land auctioneer, for a breach of the Conveyancing Ordinance, in preparing transfers of property otherwise than through a solicitor of the Supreme Court. The case is to be tried next Monday.
