MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, June 8. Drunkenness. — One first offender was fined ss, and ordered to pay 4s cab hire. Stealing from the Person. —William Hatch was charged with stealing a gold brooch and ear-rings, valued at £lO, from tlm person of Annie Thow. _Mr Izard appeared for the prisoner, and obtained an adjournment till Tuesday, to enable him to obtain evidence. Bail was granted, two sureties in £SO each.
