The Customs duties collected here on Monday, June 3rd, amounted to £6OO Is Bd. The items wore as follows :—Spirits, £31212s 2d ; wine,£2s ; tobacco, £29; tea, £2-4 Is ; sngar, £lßl 15s lOd j ad valorem, £lB 6s ; goods by weight, £9 6s Bd. At the sitting of the Waste Lands Board held on Monday, June 3rd, 6503 acres 2 roods 20 porches were disposed of, realising £13,007 ss. The laud is situated as under '—Ashley, 342 acres; Solwyu, 1188 acres 2 roods ; Akaroa, 722 acres ; Ashburton, 1777 acres ; Geraldine, 2-4-4 acres 20 perches; Waimate, 2104 acres. The total acreage of waste lands sold during the month ending May 30th are as follows :—Ashley, 10,631 acres; Selwyn, 4474 acres; Akaroa,236Bacres; Ashhnrton, 13,920 acres 1 rood; Geraldine, -4153 acres 3 roods 30 perches; Waimate, 13,300 acres 3 roods; town of Ashburton, 2 roods ; town of South Eakaia, 1 rood;} town of Arowhouna 2 roods ; total, town lands, 1 acre 1 rood ; rural, 49,147 acres 3 roods 30 porches. The total amount realised for the month is £98,534 12s 6d. PROPEKTT SALE. Mr Hawkes held a well-attended property sale yesterday at his rooms, when the following prices were realised :—Three brick houses of four rooms each in Armagh street brought £820; half-acre of laud in Oxford Terrace, fronting on the river Avon, with four three-roomed houses thereon, £500; quarter-acre of land _iu Oxford ten-ace, with five-roomed brick house thereon, £400; half-acre of land at Sydenham, with two-roomed cottage thereon, £l-45; two corner quarter-acre sections at Coalgato brought £2O and £l7 respectively; a half-acre leasehold laud in North street, with store thereon, brought £195 ; a five-roomed honse and one-tenth acre on North belt brought £3BO.
