The s.s. Wakatipn arrived from Port Chalmers at 8 a.m. to-day, and sails for Sydney via Wellington on Monday. The schooner Marion sailed for Auckland this morning’. The Maud Graham and Circe, at Peacock’s Wharf and Malay at the Tunnel Wharf, were berthed yesterday to discharge. The Union Company’s s.s. Taiaroa did not leave Mnnukau till yesterday morning, and consequently will not arrive in Lyttelton till Wednesday next. , The s.s. Hawea will not sail North till Tuesday ne, pbe Pleiades and G irron left Newcastle, N.S.W., for New Zealand on April 30th. The Emperor arrived at Newcastle on May 2nd. The Rose M. sailed from Newcastle for this port on May 7th. The Himalaya commenced her discharge yesterday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wanganui, May 17. The Stormhird arrived to-day. She was under the lea of Kupiti all the time. Wellington. May 1/. Saibd—Rotorua, for Lyttelton and Dunedin, at 7 pm. Passengers—Mr and Mrs Ross, Mrs Marxian and two children. Rev. C. Coates, Mrs Broadbent Messrs Collins, Toms, and Mrs Hall Akakoa, May 27. The ketch XXX, which sailed fr. m Lyttelton on Wednesday, carried away her foremast at Akaroa Heads, by the deck. The steam launch Pioneer communicated with her at midnight yesterday, and found all well, the vessel riding at anchor. The launch went down again this morning, but the wind and sea were too strong to bring the ketch to the wharf. „ _ ~ ~ Port Chalmers, May 17. Sailed—Wakatipn, for Lyttelton.
