Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— _ „ SATURDAY, MAY 18. For Otago, per Rotorua, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 210 p.m.: railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Wellington, pe- Star of the South, at 150 p.m.: late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train MONDAY. MAY 20. For Wellington and Sydney, per Wakatipu. For Napier and Auckland, per Hawea. For Dunedin, Bluff, and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra. . For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tm, SYIINEV J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
