Taranaki reports sighting a fnll-ngged ship to the northward of Otago Heads, and evidently bound to Port Chalmers, as she was standing to the southward. She was a large full-rigged ship, and was supposed to be the Albion Co.’s new vessel the Moeraki, now due at Port Chalmers. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS, Auckland. May 16. The Carnatic has cleared for London with a cargo valued at £47 770. She also takes 20 passengers. She leaves to-morrow. Melbourne, May 17. The Tararna sailed on Wednesday for the Bluff, via Hobart Town. The Albion on 1 bnrsday, via Hokitika. The Arawata arrived on Monday.
