Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m, THURSDAY, MAY 16, For Otago, overlaud, at 6 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Taranaki, at 1.50 p.m.: late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Alhambra. SYDNEY J, DICK, Chief Postmaster.
