There was a fair attendance, and close competition, and the weather was fine. The following events came off : 120 Yards hurdle race ; twelve entries. A. F. R. Johnston 1 W. B. Eaine 1 C. Turnbull 2 Quarter-mile handicap hurdle race; fifteen entries. W. Tosswill 1 G. Potts ... 2 Mile Walking Handicap ; seven entries. G. Potts 1 F. G. Archer ... ... 2 Putting 2 lb stone ; eight entries. T. S. Baker ... ... ... ... 1 L. A. Macpherson _ 2 150 Yards Handicap ; thirty-one entries. C. Delamain ... ... ... ... 1 W.
