Malls close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations„ FRIDAY, MAY 10. For Otago, overland, at 11 a.m. For Northern Ports, per St. Kilda, at 9.50 a.m,; late letters, 10.10 a.m,; railway station, 10.30 a.m. train. ..... * For Otago, per Wakfttipn, at 1.50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, also Chatham Islands, per Tniaroa, at 1.50 p.m,; late letters, 2.10 p.m.: railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. SATURDAY, MAY 11. For Otago, per Taranaki, at 11 a.m. j late letters, at 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. For Nelson, Westport, Groymonth, and Hokitika, per Maori, at 11 a..m.; lato letters, 11.20 a.m.; railway station, 12.10 p.m. train. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
