The weather was fine, but the attendance was not so large as in former years. The following are the items : 100 Yards race ; thirteen entries. F. Johnston 1 F. \V. Hunt 2 High Jump ; three entries. W. B. Craig 1 J. D'Fmden 2 Half-mile Hurdle race; thirteen entries. T.S.Baker 1 W. B. Craig 2 Two Mile walking race; three entries. P. H Duncan 1 T.S.Baker 2 Pole Jump; five entries. W.Newton 1 W. B. Craig 2 440 Yards Flat race; ten entries F. Johnston ... ... ... ... 1 F.W.Hunt 2 Putting 161 b stone ; nine entries. L. A. McPherson 1 T.S.Baker ... 2 Long Jump ; seven entries. T. S. Baker ; 1 W. B. Craig 2 Steeplechase, about a mile and a half; fiftyseven entries. Seven starters. T. S. Baker 1 G. Potts ... ... 2 Hop, step and jump ; five entries. F.
