POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the folowing places as under, subject to the necessary al orations: — FRIDAY. APRIL 26. For Otago, per Taranaki, at 11 a in,; late letters, 11.20 a.m.: railway, 12.10 p.m. train. For Wellington, Nelson, Went Coast ports and Australian colonies, per Tarnrua, at 1,50 p.m. ; l.ie letters, 2.10 p.m,; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. Mails per Rotorua will close as trader■ For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continent of Europe, America, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., <fco., at 4 p.m.; late letters, 4.2op.m.;railway station, 5.30 p.m. train. Money orders can be obtained up to 2 p.m., and letters registered up to 3 p.m. Newspapers and book packets must be posted fepfore 3 p.m. Late letters for mails par Rotorua can be poatod fit the guard's van attached to tho 6.80 p.m, Lyttelton train, provided each letters bear in addition to the fall postage a further single rate of postage ij,b a late fee, Tho English mail per Rotorua will bo dne in Lyndon, June 11th, SYDNEY J.
