THE DRAINAGE QUESTION.
To the Editor of the (Rohr. Sib, —I forwarded to Mr Claik the letter of “Ratepayer,” with (he accompanying extract from some engineering work, a inch was rereprinted by you from the “ Press” news-p-per, and commented upon in your article of ihe 13th instant, which also I sent to Mr Clark. It will, I think, be satisfactory to you to read tbe accompanying extract from Mr Clark’s reply to my letter:—“The arti le in tbe Globe fully answers all that ‘Ratepayer’ had to my: any one who understands anything ot the subject will see that he is writing about a different thing altogether.” Yours, &c., R.
