POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subjoct to the necessary alterations: — WEDNESDAY, APEIL 17. For Otago, overland, at ti a.m. and 11 a.m. For Kaikoura and Wellington, por Tui, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box guard's van must not be used tor Tni's mails. THURSDAY, APRIL 18. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. L The next English mail, via San Francisco, will close at Christchurch on the 26th iust. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
