The following letter appears in this day’s “Press”:— Sir, — I shall be glad if you will allow me to state in your columns that I regret my inability to fulfil my intention of asking the constituency of Christchurch to meet mo next Monday, owing to the Oddfellows’ Hall not being available earlier than the 25th inst. I have arranged for a meeting for 29th inst., of which due notice will be given. Y r ours, &c., E. 0. J. Stevens.
