Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following placer as under, subject [to the necessary alterations:— . „ „ THURSDAY, APRIL 11. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Northern Ports, pui Tniaron, at 1.50 p.m.j late letters, 2.10 pan.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. * r j?ov Wellington, Nelson, Westport,/Creyraonth, and Hokitika, per Luna, at 3 p.m. bae letters, 3,20 p.m. ; railway station, 4 p.m. train. FRIDAY, APRIL 12. For Akaroa, per Maori, at 1.50 p.m.; la*e letters, 2,10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. Eor Otago, overland, at 11 ii.JU. Letters arc now delivered by carrier in the Borough Of Sydenham, and it is therefore requested that residents in the district will have their correspond, ence addressed to the street in which they reside. c SYDNEY J.
