Wakatipu, for Sydney, via Auckland and East Coast, sails tu-morrow. The schooner T. B. The Emperor completed her discharge last 51 1 boat belonging to Mr Thacker's ketch Blackwall was picked up eight miles oil' the Long Look-Out by Captain James, of the Es.sey and Agnes. Respecting the loss of the Eurydica, the Sydney "Herald" of March 29th says:—Our English cablegram of yesterday morning contains the sad intelligence that the above-named vessel had capsized outside of the Isle of Wight, and, with the exception of twoot the crew, ail hands are supposed to have bo- n drowned. The Eurydice was Ihe last of the sailing shins in the Royal Wavy She was a sixth-rate, and considered to be the handsomest vessel in the service. She registered 1011 tons, carried four guns, and was used as a training-ship for ordinary se.nueu. She was commissioned on the 7th of February, 1577, and was returning fr m the West Indies.
