MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday, April 9. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq., KM.] Drunkenness. —Alexander Wright was fined 20s. A first offender, who was still suffering from the effects of drink, was remanded until the following day. ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE.- ICmile HuSkisson, alias Charles Rusmussin, alias G-rrnan Charley, was charged with this offence, committed on last Sunday morning, in Christchurch. Inspector nickson told his Worship that accus d had been identified by Lcary, who had been robbed, and as there was another man implicated in tho offence he would ask for a remand. Remanded until Monday next. Stabbing.—John Tornowski was charged with stabbing Richard Beule, at Moffat's Mill, Addington. Inspector Iliekson said the injured man was at present in the Hospital, and unable to attend. He would ask for a remand until Monday next. Remand granted as asked. LYTTELTON. Tuesday, April 9. [Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M.] Drunkenness. —Bobert Boyd, arrested by Constable De-vine, was sentenced to forty-eight hours' imprisonment. _^______
