POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as tinder, subject to the necessary alterations : ' THURSDAY, APRIL 4. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. For Northern ports, per Taranaki, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. For Wellington and Wanganui, per St. Kilda, at 4.45 p.m. Late letter box, guard's van must not be used for St. Kilda's mail. For United Kingdom via Southampton and Brindisi, on Saturday, April 6th, at 1 p.m. Lett r are auw delivered by carrier in the Borough of Sydenham, and it is therefore requested that residents in the district will have their correspondence addressed to the street in which they reside.
