Vagrancy. —Lucy Davey was charged with using obscene language, and also with vagrancy in being the occupier of a house of ill-fame. After hearing the evidence of several witnesses, the Bench sent the accused to prison for three months with hard labor. LYTTELTON. Tuesday, April 2, [Before T. H. Potts and J, T. Rouse, Esqs., J.P.’s.] Cattle Trespass. —James Small, for having horses astray on Q-overnor’s Bay road, was fined 10s and costs 4s. James Higgs, for having four head of cattle astray on the railway premises at the tunnel mouth, was fined 20s and costs 4s.
