POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for tho following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : TUESDAY, APRIL 2. For Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per Hawea, at 1.50 p.m.: late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40p.m. train. For Napier, per Southern Cross, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3. For Dunedin and Port Chalmers, overland, at 6 a.m. For Wellington and Northern ports, per St. Kilda, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; .railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, APRIL 4. For Wellington and Northern ports, per Taranaki, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. A letter-carrier’s delivery will henceforth bo be made in the Borough of Sydenham. It is therefore requested that residents in the district will have their correspondence addressed to the street in which they reside. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
