Mails close at the Cliie£ Post Ofice for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :- MoNDAY)ApEiLI For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 3 p.m. ; late letters, 3.20 p.m.; railway station, 4 p.m. For Otago, per Easby, at 9.50 a.m.; late letters, 10,10 a.m.; railway station, 10.30 a.m. train. For Otago, overland, at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. The next English mail, via Southampton and Brindisi, will close at Christchurch on Saturday, ?)n and after the Ist April proximo, letters will be delivered by carrier in the Borough of Sydenham, and it is therefore requested that residents in the district will have their correspondence addressed to the street in which preside. Chief Postmaster.
