Mellish, Esq., R.M.] Drunkenness. —William Warner, against whom there were fourteen previous convictions for drunkenness, was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment with hard labor. John Thompson who was still suffering from the effects of d ink, was remanded till the following day. Wife Desertion —A charge against Ed. McQ,uillan for deserting his wife, was withdrawn at the request of Mrs McQ.uillan.
