The Assembly sat a short time and adjourned till Tuesday next. Mr Berry stated he had every reason to believe that the Council would pass the Payment of Members Bill. If it did the Government would take prompt steps to pass through a fresh Appropriation Bill and prorogue. Tho statement was cheered.
