The Emerald for the Bluff. Esther for Napier, and the Empress of China for Newcastle, sailed this morning. . „ The Colonial Government s.s. Hinemoa sailed tor Akaroa at 12.45 p.m. this day. ~„„,, The s.s. Star of the South loaded 400 bales cornsacks, and sailed for Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and Bluff at 6 p.m. yesterday. , The Pleiades, ship, was berthed m the Lurlme s place yesterday, the, latter being shifted into the moorings of the Antares. , The Empress of Chiua was towed out into the stream yesterday by the p.s. Titan ready for sea. The Hopeful cleared the Customs yesterday for Algoa Bay! and sails first slant of wind. •_ The Wild Wave was berthed at Peacock s Whart yesterday to discharge. The Antares is expected to finish loading this week, and the Wanganui is fast filling up, and will be ready at her sailing date, all her cargo being to hand. SHIPPING TELEGEAMB. Auckland, MJarch 19. The Merchants Shipping and Underwriters' Association have received the following cable London, March 8. The Argonaut, ship, bound from London to Adelaide, put back to London on March 2nd ito repair damages received in collision with the Bombay. The latter vessel sank. The Ben Lomond arrived on the sth from Melbourne ; also the Old Kensington, from Melbourne ; the City of Adelaide, from Port Augusta ; the Astracan, from Port Victor; the Gateside, from Kingston; the Bamsay, from Brisbane ; the Windsor Castle, from Brisbane j and the Daylight, from Champion Bay.
