The items were fapixits, £lO7 9s 8d; wine, £l2 0s 9d; goods by weight, £157 lls; ad valorem. £211; other duties, £113148 9d. At the sitting of the Waste Lands Board held on Monday, 18th March, 5903 acres were disposed of, realising £11,906. The laud is situated as under ; Ashley 2308 acres; Selwyn, 4.0 acres; Akaroa, 40 acres; Ashburton, 3157 acres; Geraldine, 183 acres; Waimnte, 225 acres.
