The s.s. Taranaki arrived in harbor at 10 a.m. With the inward San Francisco mails. She sails for Dunedin this afternoon. The schooner Wild Wave, from Wellington, arrived in harbor last evening. The Eio Loge for Sydney, and Derwent for Kai. ttara, sailed this morning. The Sunbeam was shifted yesterday from the Tunnel Wharf to the No. 3 Wharf, and the Firefly from the Tunnel Wharf to the No. 4 Wharf. The Flora and Linda Weber were berthed yesterday at the Tunnel Wharf, and the Cleopatra, Sarah Pile, and the Garibaldi at Peacock's Wharf. The Mary Ann Annis-'n, Vindex for Newcastle, and Eio Loge for Sydney, cleared the Customs yesterday, and were towed'ont into the stream by the p.s. Titan ready for sea. The Prince Alfred for Kaipara, and Esther for Napier, cleared the Customs yesterday, and sail first Slant of wind. ~ The schooner Garibaldi, Captain Oatndge, left Hokitika on Tuesday, March sth, with a light northerly wind, which held till off Cane Foulwind, when it shifted round to the westward, lasting till Off Cape Campbell; thence light baffling winds to arrival in harbor at 6 p.m. on Thursday. She was berthed at Peacock's wharf. The s.s. Star of the South, Captain Christian, left Oamaru at 12.30 pin. on Thursday, and arrived in harbor at 12 30 p.m. yesterday. Had light head wind* up the coast. She transhipped 205 tons flour &c, into the barque Hopeful, and goes alongside Bide the Inchgreen to-day to lond for Timaru. The Inchgreen, barque, w*s berthed at the Gladatone Pier yesterday, the Wanganui being shifted to an outside berth. The Colonial Government s.s. Hinemoa, Captain Fair left Wellington on Thursday evening, and arrived in harbor at 10.30 a.m. yesterday. Had fine weather down the coast. She waits here for Sir George Grey. The brigantine Cleopatra, Captain Clarkson, left Greymouth on Saturday, March 9th, with a fresh N.E. wind and dirty weather till next day, when a 8.8. W. gale, with very heavy squ.lls and heavy sea sprung up, lasting till Monday. Passed Stephen's Island at 2 a.m. same day, with a W.N.W. wind, which lasted till Tuesday. Thence light S. W. till passing Cape Campbell, at 4 p.m. same day, wheu the wind changed to light N.W., which lasted till Thursday. Light N.E. prevailed from that date till arrival in harbour at 8 p.m. on Thursday. She was berthed at Peacock's Wharf. The barque Malay, Captain Croll, arrived at 9 p.m. on Thursday, 14th mst. Bhe left Newcastle on March Ist, and had light variables till Saturday last, when a fresh S. W. gale was experienced. The land was made inside Cape Farewell on Monday morning, the wind changing to S.E. in the afternoon. On Tuesday the breeze was northerly, carrying the vesel through the Straits. Thence had light baffling winds down the coast to arrival as above. The Wakatipu took ahoard some 800 tons cargo at this port for Sydney, the three hatches being worked to 10 p.m. on Thursday. She sailed for Wellington and Sydney at 7 p.m. yesterday.
