The Russian troops are moving toward 8 Constantinople. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, in replying to a question, stated that the Government had no information that the Russian troops were fortifying Bulair, but that they were still distant twelve miles from it. Grey and ministerial party were interviewed by the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Harbor Board. After they had inspected the hospital, gaol, and public school, Sir George obtained a holiday for the school. He left at noon for Temuka with a large party of gentlemen. At the invitation of Mr Hayhurst he will visit Milford lagoon.
