CHBISTCHUBCH. Friday, March 8. [Before G-. L. Mellish, Esq., B.M.] Drunkenness.—Two [first offenders were 'each fined ss. Indecent Assault.—Charles McG-unigale, charged on warrant with an offence of this nature, was remanded for a week on the application of Inspector Hickson. LYTTELTON. Friday, March 8. [Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M., and H. E. Webb, Esq., J.P.] Drunkenness.—Frederick Quine, an old offender, was fined 10s, or, in default, fortyeight hours. OBTAINING G-OODS BY FALBE PRETENCES. —John McQuinn, charged on warrant from Christchureh with this offence, was remanded till to-morrow at Christchureh.
