COMMERCIAL.
The revenue collected at the Customs on Friday, March Ist, amounted to £1209 11s Id. The items were :—Spirits, £139 Is 3d ; wine, £42 14s 6d ; ale in bulk, £125; tobacco, £53 7s 6d ; tea, £163 16s 6d; goods by weight, £9B 16s 7d; ad valorem, £404; other duties, £192 14s 9d. LIVE STOCK MAEKET. Messrs Clifford and Co., Cashel street, report on their usual weekly sale, March 2nd, ns follows: Cattle—Cows, springers, £7 to £10; calves, 15s to 18s. Pigs—This market better stocked than usual, prices remaining unchanged: small stores, 2s 9d to 3s 6d ; medium, 6s to 8s; fat pigs, 20s to 235. Poultry—The pens were well filled, and fair prices realised : fowls, per pair, 2s 3d to 4s : ducks, 3s 9d to 4s; geese, 5s to 6s 6d ; turkeys, ordinary, 5s 6d to 7s. Potato market plentifully supplied ; 60s per ton can be quoted as an average price at auction. A good lot of hams and bucon disposed of at a fair figure. Good attendance at all the sales throughout the day.
