The new peace conditions are that 50,000 Russians are to occupy Bulgaria for two years, and Turkey is to pay £40,000,000 indemnity. The Austrians are raising a special vote. The Pope has dismissed the Commandant of the Papal Dominion. [beuteb's special telegeams to pbess AGENOY.] London, February 25. The fresh peace conditions demanded by Russia include the prohibition of the passage of tlie Dardanelles by all war vessels but the free navigation of it by merchant ships, an indemnity of fourteen hundred million roubles, to cover which Turkey is required to cede her iron-clad squadron* the cities of Ears, Batoum, Bayazid ( and Ardahan, and the territory comprised in the Russian occupation of Asia Minor ; the forty millions sterling indemnity to be secured by bonds chargeable under sinking fund, the interest of which is to be guaranteed by the tribute now paid by Bulgaria and Egypt to the Porte.
